The Banquet is a monthly dinner served at Rejoice! Community Church for the community and beyond.  Following the mission and vision of Rejoice, The Banquet seeks to joyfully celebrate and share God’s love with everyone, but especially with those in need, lonely, and elderly. The primary purpose of The Banquet is to gather people in fellowship where more than just a hot meal is offered, as we strive to feed the body and soul. Those serving at The Banquet emulate Jesus’ love through kindness and prayer, as well as connecting guests into relationships in a safe environment.

“The Banquet is ready…go out… and invite everyone you see.”
(Matthew 22: 8 – 9)

coffeeconnectThe Connection

The Connection is a vital part of living life together. Every Sunday from 9:20 – 9:50am we gather to eat breakfast and reconnect after a busy week. During this relaxed time we gather for fellowship with each other and enjoy a continental breakfast prior to worship.

“But if we walk in the light…we also experience a shared life (fellowship) with one another.” (1 John 1: 7)

Food Distribution

At Rejoice we strive to find a need in the community and then we try to do our part to make an impact for the Kingdom of God

Our food distribution takes place every 3rd Wednesday of the month and is supplied to us by the Food Bank of Sioux land. Our distribution begins at 5:30 pm and usually goes until around 6:30 and is open to anyone who wishes to receive food. We don’t have an income guideline for this distribution so all are welcome. We also have bread and bakery goods to choose from as well.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” (John 13:34)

localoutreachFood Pantry

The Rejoice! Food Pantry is open to all residents of Plymouth and Sioux Counties.   We are funded by private donations and grants.  We work with the Food Bank of Siouxland and other area agencies to provide canned and shelf-stable products,  meats, and some hygiene products as they are available to us.   We are staffed entirely by volunteers.  Our hours are from 2:00-4:00 in the afternoon on the first, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays and from 9:00-11:00 every Saturday morning.  A driver’s license or picture ID is required.  Individuals or families may visit the food pantry once a month.
